Habib Alruh ("we", "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal data in accordance with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021, "PDPL"). This policy explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, who we share it with, and your rights.

Information we collect

• Identity & contact data: name, email address, phone number, billing and delivery address.
• Order & payment data: items purchased, order history, and payment confirmation (we do not store full card numbers, payments are processed securely by our payment providers).
• Technical & usage data: device, browser, IP address, and browsing behaviour collected via cookies and similar technologies.
• Marketing preferences: whether you have consented to receive marketing communications.

How we use your data & legal basis

We process your data on the basis of your explicit, specific and freely given consent, to perform our contract with you, and where necessary to comply with the law. We use it to: process and deliver orders; provide customer support; prevent fraud; improve our website and products; and (with your consent) send marketing.

Who we share it with

We share data only with the partners needed to run the store:

• Shopify, our e-commerce platform and hosting provider.
• Payment gateways, to process payments securely.
• Shipping & courier providers, to deliver your order.
• Marketing tools (e.g. our email provider), only where you have consented.

We do not sell your personal data. Some providers may process data outside the UAE under appropriate safeguards.

How long we keep it

We retain personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes above and to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.

Your rights under the PDPL

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
• Request deletion of your data (the "right to be forgotten").
• Object to or withdraw consent for direct marketing at any time.
• Request restriction of, or object to, certain processing.
